Gerda Hofstatter Wins WPBA San Diego Classic

The WPBA San Diego Classic took place at the Veijas Casino in Alpine, California on March 10th to the 14th and the tournament had sixty four players competing. The event was a huge success and it was Gerda Hofstatter who earned the first place win after defeating Shu-Han Chang of Chinese Taipei in the finals. (17/03)

Women’s PBA gets new sponsors and affiliates

Cuetec Cues is the latest sponsor to join the Women’s Professional Billiard Association. Cuetec will be the Official Cue of the 2010 Classic Tour. Cuetec Cues has been a long running sponsor of the WPBA Classic Tour. (12/03)

Geoffrey Bauer Wins Tri-State Billiards Competition

On March 6th the Tri-State Billiards Tour stopped in New York City, New York at Eastside Billiards to host a $500 added B-D event. the tournament saw several competitors participating but it was Geoffrey Bauer who took home the first place win. (09/03)

Justin Muller Wins Tri-State Billiards Tour Stop

The Tri-State Tour recently stopped at Edison Billiards in Edison, New Jersey to host a $750 added 9 ball tournament. Twenty four players competed in the event which took place on February 27th. It was Justin Muller who earned the first place win. (02/03)

Mika Immonen Wins Mezz Billiards Stop

The Mezz Pro-Am Tour stopped at the Atlantic City billiard club in Egg Harbor, New Jersey on February 21st to host a $1,000 added event. The field as fifty players strong and it was Mika Immonen who outlasted the field and defeated Eddie Abraham to claim the title. (25/02)

Mark Berry Wins BCW Open 9-Ball tour stop

On February 14th the BCW Open 9-Ball tour stopped at Master Z’s in Waukesha, Wisconsin to hold a tournament. the event saw fifteen players competing and it was Mark Berry who walked away with the first place win. (19/02)

Sylver Ochoa Wins Lone Star Billiards Tour Event

Valentine’s Day Weekend was the start of the first event of the Lone Star Billiards Tour 2010. The event took place at Bogies Billiards and Games in Houston, Texas and fifty four players showed up to compete. The open event was won by Sylver Ochoa and Terry Petrosino won the women’s event. (16/02)

Jason Stemen Wins NGB Amateur Billiards Tour Event

The NGB Amateur Billiards Tour stopped at Mr. Cues II in Atlanta, Georgia on February 6th to host a 7-ball event. The tournament saw 64 players competing and it was Jason Stemen who earned the first place win. (12/02)

New Billiards Tour Launches

Mezz Cues and Mika Immonen recently announced the new Mezz Pro-Am Tour. The new tour is a one day Open Tournament which has a staggered entry fees and additional cash prizes for the A/B and C/D division top two finishers. The North East region will be the area of tournament events. (09/02)

Executive Billiards to Support ZO & Magic’s 8-Ball Challenge

Executive Billiards recently announced they are lending their support to the ZO & Magic’s 8-Ball Challenge. The Challenge will be kicking off the NBA All-Star Weekend in Dallas on February 11th. The Challenge is an annual fundraiser that supports the missions of the Magic Johnson Foundation and the Alonzo Mourning Charities. (04/02)

Borana Andoni wins Tri-State Tour Stop

A total of 28 B-D players participated in the Tri-State Tour stop in Brooklyn, New York this past weekend. The tournament took place at Gotham Billiards and it was Borana Andoni who took the first place prize after besting Justin Muller in the final match. (02/02)

Jason Totten Wins Lucasi Billiards Event

The Lucasi Hybrid All-American Tour stopped at Miller Time Billiards in Davenport, IA on January 16th to host a $500 added event. the stop saw twenty eight players competing in a double-elimination 8-ball format tournament on 7 foot bar boxes. (26/01)

World Pool Masters Expands for 2010

Matchroom Sport recently announced that details for the 2010 PartyPoker World Pool Masters. The tournament is set to take place in May from the 12th to the 16th at the Riviera Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. JOB Billiards Club in Madison, Tennessee will be hosting the 22nd Annual Music City 9-Ball Open which began yesterday and will continue until the 17th. Sparky Ferrell wins White Diamond Billiards Winter Extravaganza

The White Diamond Billiards Winter Extravaganza took place this past weekend at White Diamond Billiards in Lafayette, LA. The tournament drew a large field of players at 128 and it was Sparky Ferrell who managed to outlast the field and take the first place win. (12/01)
