National Wheelchair Players Association National Championship Results

The National Wheelchair Players Association National Championships took place this past weekend in Brea, California. Players came from all over to compete in the event and hopefully win the first place prize. The event was hosted by Diamond Billiards and was a $7,500 added tournament. (29/10)

Players Remain Undefeated in US Open

The 33rd Annual US Open 9-Ball Championship has been taking place over the past few days at the Chesapeake Convention Center in Chesapeake, Virginia. The best of the best players have showed up to play and hopefully take the top honor. Two players have shown great promise for the win and so far remain undefeated. (24/10)

First Three Players Named to Play in Mosconi Cup

Party Casino’s Mosconi Cup is scheduled to take place at the Hilton Hotel in Portomaso, Malta on December 11th through the 14th. Matchroom Sport announced the first three spots for each team have been filled after the conclusion of the World Cup of Pool. (22/10)

2nd Billiards Stars Search To Begin in November

The second half of the Billiards Stars Search is set to begin on November 5th and continue until the 9th. The Star Billiards Center in Grace Village, Quezon City will be hosting the event and many billiards enthusiasts are expected to compete. (16/10)

Joey Testa Wins Blaze 9-Ball tour in Vineland, New Jersey

Vineland, New Jersey was the latest stop of the Blaze 9-Ball Tour and Jose Garcia’s pool room, Q-Ball was the place to be for competitors. Many players played well but there could only be one winner and Joey Testa played his best and took home the victory. (14/10)

Eddie Abraham Wins Blaze 9-Ball Tour Event

The Blaze 9-Ball Tour had their first stop of October at One Shot Billiards in Somerset, New Jersey. The event took place on the 5th and was a $1,000 added tournament. Many players showed up to participate but Eddie Abraham would be the one taking home top honors. (10/10)

Junior Billiards Champions to Represent United States Announced

The Junior Billiards Champions who will be representing the United States in the 2008 World Pool Billiard Association Junior World 9-Ball Championships were recently announced by the Billiard Education Foundation. Nine players were chosen to represent the United States in Reno, Nevada during the Championships. (08/10)
