Sean Davis Goes Undefeated to Win Great Southern Billiard Tour Event

The Great Southern Billiard Tour recently made a stop in Sanford, North Carolina at the Speakeazy billiards to hold a $1,500 added A/B amateur event. The event drew a playing field of 74 players and it was Sean Davis who went undefeated in the competition to take the top spot. (28/07)

Shaun Wilkie Wins New Jersey Stop of Blaze 9-Ball Tour

This past weekend the Blaze 9-Ball Tour stopped in Egg Harbor, New Jersey for a $1,000 added event. Atlantic City Billiards hosted the event and it was Shaun Wilkie who earned the first place win of the event. (24/07)

Taylor Road Productions to Announce U.S. Distribution Deal for Televised Billiard Event

Taylor Road Productions is the promoter of the Galveston World Classic. They will soon be announcing a deal for the United States distribution of televised programming for the upcoming event. Moody Gardens in Galveston, Texas will be hosting the event on September 11th through the 20th and the event will feature over $1 million in prize money. (21/07)

Jeff Abernathy Wins Second Jacoby Custom Cues Carolina Tour Stop

Jeff Abernathy won a Jacoby Custom Cues Carolina Tour in February and this weekend he earned his second tour win this past weekend. Abernathy went undefeated this past weekend to take the win. The $1,000 added main event took place at Break Time Billiards in Wilmington, North Carolina with fifteen players competing. (14/07)

World Billiards Event Hosted by Northern Snooker Centre

It was recently announced that the 2009 World Professional Billiards Championship will be hosted by the Northern Snooker Centre in Leeds. The event will take place from September 2nd through the 6th 2009. (10/07)

Dawn Fox Wins MALT’s Indiana State Women’s Championship

This Fourth of July weekend fourteen women came to O’Brian’s Sports Bar and Grill in Evansville, Indiana to compete in the MALT’s Indiana State Women’s championship. The $1,000 added event was a WPBA qualifier for the 2009 WPBA U.S. Open and it was Dawn Fox who came away with the win. (07/07)
