Mohegan Sun Hosting Large Billiards Event

This October the Mohegan Sun in Connecticut will be hosting a special three day billiards extravaganza. Over the three day period The International Challenge of Champions, the International Tournament of Champions and the World Cup of Trick Shots will be taking place. (29/09)

During the Galveston World Classic, several pool pros are set to face off against each other in special challenge matches. The most recent match to conclude was Shane Van Boening versus Dennis Orcollo. Van Boening was able to beat Orcollo this past Monday night with a final score of 15-3. (22/09)

Steven Page Wins Jacoby Custom Cues Carolina Tour Stop

The Jacoby Custom Cues Carolina Tour stopped in Rocky Mount, North Carolina to host an event at Sharks-N-Shooters this past weekend. The tournament was a $1,000 added event and out of a field of seventeen players, Steven Page was able to remain undefeated to claim the first place title. (15/09)

Pankaj Advani Wins Asian Games Billiards Title

Pakaj Advani, a professional billiards player, has been subject to large amounts of praise from the Indian media for becoming the Asian Games Billiards champion. Advani became the second Indian to ever win the world title. (11/09)

Official Cloth of Galveston World Classic Named

The promoters of the Galveston World Classic, Taylor Road Productions, have announced the official cloth of the event. Simonis Cloth will be the official cloth of the event which will feature top pros and amateurs competing for $1 million in prizes. The event is set for September 11th through the 20th and will take place at the Moody Gardens in Galveston, Texas. (08/09)

Van Boening and Dennis Orcollo to Face Off in Challenge

It was recently announced by Taylor Road Productions that Dennis Orcollo and Shane Van Boening will be the next pro players to compete in a $5,000 Challenge Match as part of the Galveston World Classic. The match will be held on September 14th at 8pm CST and fans will be able to watch live as the footage of the match will be streamed live online. (01/09)
