The second half of the Billiards Stars Search is set to begin on November 5th and continue until the 9th. The Star Billiards Center in Grace Village, Quezon City will be hosting the event and many billiards enthusiasts are expected to compete.

Elvis Calasang, the defending champion, is scheduled to attend along with : Marlon Manalo-the reigning national champion, Antonia Gabica, Jeffery de Luna, Mario Tolentino, Victor Arpilleda, Edgar Acaba and Leonardo Diadal. Also expected to attend is Jerico Banares the reigning RP Junior Champion in Division A.

The event will have four divisions (A,B, C, D) and is being organized by the Billiards and Snooker Congress of the Philippines along with Raya Sports, Philippines Billiards Foundation and the Star Billiards Center.

The game played in this event will follow Ten Ball WPA rules and use a winner’s break format. Players must post a P400 entry fee to be eligible to play in the tournament. Players who place well will win cash prizes or a trophy. The amount of the cash prize will depend on the number of players entered in the tournament.
