5th Annual XTM Asia 10-Ball Championships Begin
The Hamilton Hotel in Seoul, South Korea is playing host to the Dragon Promotions fifth annual XTM Asia 10-Ball Championships. The event has begun and players from around the world are participating. The winner will receive $10,000 in the men’s division and the women’s division winner will take home $3,500.

The last six matches for both men and women will be televised by XTM. Mika Immonen is the top seed of the event. Immonen just won the United States Open 9-Ball Championship and this could be his first major international win.

Other players entered are Charlie Williams who is playing for Korea, Rodney Morris, Thorsten Hohmann, Hayato Hijikata, Lee Chenman, Jech Limen and Rodrigo Geronimo. The women’s number one seed is Gui Young from Korea. Number two seed is Neslihan Gruel. Yu Ram Cha from Korea, who is a favorite, will be unable to compete due to her competing in the WPBA Nationals in Florida.

Players competing are from the United States, Germany, Finland, Australia, Japan, Hong Kong, Philippines, Turkey and Korea. The event will be sponsored by many big name Companies in the billiard industry including: Predator and Poison Cues, Aramith Balls and Min Tables.
