ACS Announces Tournament in Iowa
ACS recently announced that a new home has been found for the fourth annual ACS Midwest 8-Ball Championships. Not only does the event have a new home but it also has an increased added-money purse. The event will take place January 21st through the 24th at the Riverside Resort and Casino which is located near Iowa City, Iowa. 8-ball, 9-ball, scotch doubles, 4-person teams and 2nd chance divisions will be featured during the American CueSports Alliance event. This year only the event will be open to any players who have played a minimum of four matches over a minimum of four weeks in one session of any pool league sanctioned by a National or State pool association since June 1st 2009.
Those who are not a member of an ACS league must pay an extra $25 or $10 per team for entry into any division. Pool leagues are able to sanction or dual-sanction with the ACS by paying $10 per player. Those who are sanctioned will earn a free J. Pechauer Custom Cue this year!
