All American Tour Stop win goes to Tony Piazza
The All American Tour stopped this past weekend in Lakewood, Colorado to host a $1,000 added 8 ball scratch tournament. The tour stop took place at Greenfields Pool & Sports Bar and forty nine players registered to compete. The tournament would end with Tony Piazza earning the first place win.

On the A side of the tournament, Piazza and Roy Yamane took to the table for the hot seat match after Piazza defeated Andrew Pettinger. Yamane had defeated Sam Cordova 5-4 to make it to face Piazza. In the end, Piazza as able to defeat Yamane 5-2 to earn a spot in the finals.

Over on the B side, Jim Fraser and Ed Borrego were knocked out in 7th place of the tournament after Kevin Williams and Ron O’Meara were defeated by the two respectively with a score of 5-2. Williams and O’Meara were knocked out next by both Andrew Pettinger and Sam Cordova.

Cordova was on a roll and he faced Pettinger in the next round and won 5-1. Cordova then faced Yamane and managed to win 5-3 to move on to face Piazza in the finals. Both wanted the title win but apparently Piazza wanted it more and he won the match 5-2 to take down the title win.

Final Results:

First Tony Piazza $790
Second Sam Cordova $400
Third Roy Yamane $200
Fourth Andrew Pettenger $150
Fifth Kevin Williams $75
