Brunswick Billiards will be showing players a new unique table at the Great Lakes Classic in Michigan City, Indiana later this month. The table is called Zanzibar pool table and finalists of the tournament will be able to play on the limited edition luxury table.

The table retails for close to $25,000 and Brunswick Billiards is bringing the table to feature at the tournament as part of their sponsorship support for the Women’s Professional Billiards Association.

The table was inspired by three countries, India, Africa and Europe and it is made of several international woods. The rails are made of American Cherry and European Mappa is used as well. Supporting the rail next to each pocket is African inspired brass monkeys lending to the unique look of the table.

The table will be featured during the Great Lakes Classic which will take place on June 17th through the 21st at the Blue Chip Casino and Hotel. Austin Rothbard the president of Brunswick Billiards commented: “Bringing a luxury table such as the Zanzibar to the WPBA gives Brunswick Billiards the opportunity to show the players and the audience the innovative style on display in the sports today.
