Chris Orme Wins Joss Northeast 9-ball Tour Stop at Classic Billiards
The Joss Northeast 9-Ball tour stopped this weekend in Rochester, New York to hold a $2,000 added purse event this past weekend. Thirty nine players entered the tournament at Classic Billiards but it would be Chris Orme who would outlast the field and take the first place finish.

Bucky Souvanthong lost to Orme 9-6 and John Morra lost as well 9-7 to move Orme to the hot seat match. On the one loss side, Chance Chin and Shane Winters worked their way to face Souvanthong and Dave Grau after they were sent to the one loss side.

Winters beat Tim Wendt 9-3 to meet Grau who but Winters could not pull out a win. Grau moved on to play Chin who advances after beating Souvanthong. Chin then beat Grau 9-7 in the quarter finals to face Morra in the semifinals. Chin won yet again and moved on the face Orme in the finals.

Chin was hot at the table and pulled out ahead of Orme 6-1. Orme then battled back to tie the match up and pulled out in front 7-6. Chin tied it up again and Orme’s break on the last rack was good and he sunk the 9 ball to win the tournament.
