The Tri-State Tour stopped on December 26th for a $500 added holiday tournament at Castle Billiards in East Rutherford, New Jersey. The tournament saw forty one players competing and Dave Shlemperis was able to come back from a late loss to win the tournament.

Shlemperis faced Wilson Cruz in the hot seat match and Cruz was the dominate player earning a 7-4 win and sending Shlemperis to the west side. Over on the left side the final four saw Jacob Schwartz losing to Scott Simonetti 7-5 and Pete
Brennan knocking out Simonetti in fourth place with a score of 7-4.

Shlemperis was ready to face Cruz so he quickly knocked out Brennan in the semi-finals 6-1. He then faced Cruz and opened the final match Cruz then with a 9 ball on the break and was up 8-0 in the race to 10. Cruz then got on the board and managed to make it to 4 before Shelmperis earned the last two frames to win the match.
