Eddie Abraham Wins Joss Northeast 9-Ball Tour Stop
The Joss Northeast 9-Ball Tour stopped at Raxx Pool Room in Hempstead, New York this past weekend with a $2,000 added event which saw forty three players vying for the top spot. Eddie Abraham would outlast the field and win his first win on the Joss Tour. Abraham did well in the final four on the winner’s side knocking out George Sansouci 9-5 while Bobbie Blackmore knocked out George Rodriguez 9-3. Both Sansouci and Rodriguez moved to the one loss side. Abraham then faced Blackmore and won 9-3 sending Blackmore to the one loss side.
On the one loss side, Shaun Wilkie was competing very well knocking out Bob Lewis and Mike Zuglan before he faced Rodriguez. Wilkie’s luck did not hold out and Rodriguez won the match up 9-5. Joey Korsiak beat Matt Krah and Ivaylo Petrov to then play Sansouci who won the match 9-1. Rodriguez would then face Sancouci, who would finish the tournament in fourth after Rodriguez defeated him 9-6.
