Jeff Abernathy Wins Second Jacoby Custom Cues Carolina Tour Stop
Jeff Abernathy won a Jacoby Custom Cues Carolina Tour in February and this weekend he earned his second tour win this past weekend. Abernathy went undefeated this past weekend to take the win. The $1,000 added main event took place at Break Time Billiards in Wilmington, North Carolina with fifteen players competing. Abernathy earned the hot seat by defeating Zach Wilson 7-4 and Larry Faulk 7-2. On the one loss side Jay Calhoun lost against Trey Greene at the same time David Tickle lost 7-4 to Sidney Champion. Younger Chapman defeated Peaches Fuller 7-3 while Scott Crandall lost to Barry Irving 7-3 as well.
Chapman proceeded to then face Wilson who was sent over by Abernathy and he won that match as well. Champion was facing Vollmar at the same time and won as well so it was now time for Chapman and Champion to face each other. Champion would prevail and then face Larry Faulk to win yet again.
Champion then would face Abernathy in the finals which would be a single race to nine finals. Both managed to tie the match up at four a piece and then Abernathy pulled away and won the match up 9-6.
Final Results:
