Landon Shuffett Wins Great Southern Billiard Tour Stop
The Great Southern Billiard Tour stopped this past weekend in Greenville, South Carolina at the Palace Billiards for competitors to participate in a $1,500 added A-B handicapped event. The event drew a playing field of fifty five amateur players and it was Landon Shuffett who earned the first place finish.Shuffett moved to the front of the competition by besting Craig McPartlin 9-3 while Chase Smith bested Ray Benish 7-5. Shuffett then faced Smith who he beat for the hot seat 9-6. Over on the one loss side Kenny Wilson defeated Benish while McPartlin defeated Brian Turner. McPartlin then faced Wilson and won 9-6 to move on to the quarter finals.
Smith then faced McPartlin who he beat with a 7-3 victory to then face Shuffett again in the finals. But he was unable to come up with the win, as Shuffett won the match up 9-2.
