Thirty two players entered the last February stop on the Tri-State Tour to try their hand at winning the $500 added C-D handicapped event. The tournament took place in Edison, New Jersey at Sandcastle Billiards and Leo Liu outlasted the field to take the win.

When it came down to the winners side final four Liu beat Dave Fitzpatrick while Ben Sadowski beat Rhio Anne Flores both in hill-hill battles. Liu and Sadowski would then face each other in the hot seat match. Liu won the match 6-1 sending Sadowski to the one loss side.

Over on the one loss side, James DeGiosafatto and Duane Dailey were able to fend off the other players and then face Flores and Fitzpatrick when they were sent over. Fitzpatrick defeated DeGiosafatto 6-3 and Flores beat Dailey 6-1. Flores would beat Fitzpatrick and then face Sadowski.

Flores beat Sadowski 6-0 and then faced Liu in the finals. Liu opened the match with four racks before Flores would somewhat catch up with two racks. They each won one more rack before Liu finished the match with a score of 6-3.
