New 10-Ball Tour Announced for 2009
The Northeast/New England area of the United States can look forward to a new amateur 10-Ball tour starting in 2009. Kevin Vidal from the 14and1 website has teamed up with William Dominiak of the DominiakCues website to create the new tour.

Vidal will be the tour’s director while Dominiak Cues will act as the tour title sponsor. The 2009 tour season will consist of eight events and the first stop will be on January 10th at The Billiards Café in Ayer, Massachusetts.

All stops on the tour will be one day events that will be held on a Saturday or Sunday. The only exception will be the Grand Finale which will most likely be longer than one day. Players who are considered “A” or “Pro” are not eligible for the tour.

The entry fee for each tour stop is thirty five dollars. Women and players under the age of 18 must only pay a $10 greens fee. The winners of the tour will receive a Dominiak Cue and their entry fee back. Vidal commented on the upcoming tour: “We felt there was a need for a platform purely for the amateur player — to have an affordable quality tour to attend and compete in a format that allows amateur players to enjoy competition and hone their skills. It’s a stepping stone, if you will.”
