Randy Canipe Wins Viking Billiards Tour Stop in Hickory, North Carolina
Randolph’s in Hickory, North Carolina played host to the Viking Cue Amateur 9-Ball Tour on November 8th and 9th with a $3,000 added amateur only event. The tour stop brought out sixty eight participants and Randy Canipe managed to remain undefeated throughout the competition and take the win.

After getting a bye in round one, Canipe moved on to play Mike Bumgarner and winning the matchup 7-3. Canipe then moved on and defeated Jeff Pruitt 7-6, Brandon Canipe 7-2, Jerry Hilton 7-5, Evan Wyatt 7-1 and Mackey Lowery 7-5.

Lowery had also drawn a bye in the first round and then played and beat David Coffey 7-6, Kevin Falsetti 7-4, Richie Tuttle 7-3, Matt Armstrong 7-6 and Tony Morrison 7-6. Lowery faced Mike Cantrell in the semi finals in a hill-hill match and won moving on to the finals against Canipe once again and was unable to claim the victory.
