Tim Volkman Wins Varsity Club 8-Ball Event
Last weekend the Varsity Club hosted a $1,000 added 8-ball event which saw an amazing turnout of seventy eight players. The Varsity Club is located in Oshkosh, Wisconsin and it would be Tim Volkman who took down the first place prize.

Players competing in the event were from all over Wisconsin, Michigan, Indiana, Illinois and Iowa and were ready to fight for the first place prize. The event began on Friday with the seventy eight contestants and by Saturday the field was narrowed down to sixteen players. These players returned on Sunday to compete in the last round of the event.

Chad Elston and Volkman were matched up to see who would move on to the hot seat and Volkman would move on after a 4-2 victory. Matt Mitchell won six matches to then face Elston who had moved over to the one loss side. Mitchell won that match and then place Volkman in the finals.
