Undefeated Jethwa Takes Fast Eddie’s Olhausen 9-Ball Tour win
Fast Eddie’s Olhausen 9-ball Tour made its tenth stop of the tour at Fast Eddie’s Billiards in Houston, Texas this past weekend for a $1,000 added event. the stop saw forty seven players competing and it was Andy Jethwa who managed to remain undefeated throughout the competition to take the first place win. Jethwa defeated Dalton Riley 9-7 to make the hot seat match. Jethwa would face Hunter Blackwell in the hot seat match after Hunter defeated Nick Hood 9-6. Jethwa won the match and waited for his opponent in the finals.
Jason Brown was doing well on the left side of the bracket beating Tom Wallace to then face Raul Escobedo. Brown won this match as well and would then face Hood and won that match as well, 7-4. James Davis Jr. beat Michael Alonzo to face Ernesto Bayuad and then Riley, and that win put Davis in the quarterfinals.
Davis would face Brown and lose, sending Brown to face Blackwell in the semifinals. Brown won this match as well and moved on to face Jethwa in the finals. Brown started well but Jethwa was not ready to lose and he took the win from Brown, remaining undefeated throughout the competition.
